Model: Sabalo Slip-On
Key Features: Laceless design, pig nubuck construction, lavender trefoil logo and “NORA” embroidering across the tongues. The shoe also incorporates overlapping pink and white side panel curves against its straight platform, a detail that takes cues from the fisheye lens, which is a prominent element in skate cinematography. An improved adiprene sockliner with floral motifs and honeycombed Geoflex outsoles solidify its design.
Release Date: April 5
Editor’s Notes: adidas Skateboarding has unveiled a new variation of the Sabalo Slip with a signature colorway that celebrates the brand’s first female team rider, Nora Vasconcellos.
Rendered in a vibrant colorway of Clear Orange/Cloud White, the silhouette is defined by the aforementioned details noted above. It’s also worth noting that Vasconcellos’ own floral-inspired artwork is utilized throughout the shoe’s lining. Overall, the shoe is a combination of her two greatest passions, skateboarding and art.
You can purchase a pair at select adidas stores and online beginning April 5.
