After its SS16 exploits in the French Riveria, adidas SPEZIAL now gets meta for FW16 by taking influence from its own heritage and archive.

The new range features a selection of apparel, accessories, and sneakers, with each item riffing on the iconic trefoil — a logo which, since its initial inception, has become synonymous with everything from Mod subculture to football ultras.

Highlights from the premium sportswear collection include a clutch of waterproof jackets, retro zippers, a crewneck sweater and graphic tees. A stand out from the sneaker range is the Bulhill SPZL hybrid, which mixes a Hawaii sole with an upper inspired by the Freizeit series and is microcosmic of the collections past-meets-modern aesthetic.

The adidas SPEZIAL FW16 range is available online via the adidas website and selected retailers from October.

In other adidas Originals news, sneaker customizer The Remade has just unveiled a sumptuous Hermes-inspired NMD.
