Editor’s Notes: The adidas Temper Run first dropped in 2014 and was designed as a throwback to ’90s runners. Unfortunately, the silhouette was a little ahead of its time, never caught on, and was quickly scrapped — until now. Four years later, chunky, old-school sneakers are back in style and the Temper Run is making a comeback.
Two OG colorways (gray and yellow) dropped earlier this year in May, and now the Three Stripes is following up the initial drop with another release.
Lexington, Kentucky sneaker boutique Oneness has stocked up on two new colorways of the retro runner, shock purple and black/volt, which are available for purchase now.
Similar in style to the popular Yung-1 and Yung-96 silhouettes, the Temper Run might not be as well known as those shoes, but it’s just as on-trend as the other two ’90s-inspired sneakers.
