The updated Ultra Boosts here welcome the original ventilation holes throughout the upper, of course to aid in breathability, paired with the brand’s new Primeknit construction designed to reduce stretch and provide runners with optimum fit and additional support. The high-tech Fit Counter then enhances freedom of movement, while Boost tooling is still present for adaptability, cushioning, and energy return.
The Ultra Boost X in turn makes use of strategically-placed cage and support features, in addition to Adaptive Arch, which allows the Primeknit Upper to mold to the foot of the wearer. Premium support and cushioning are achieved thanks to the Boost midsole and the Adaptive Arch design.
You can look forward to adidas’s new SS18 colorways of the Ultra Boost and Ultra Boost X, starting at $180 USD, arriving online February 21 and at authorized stockists beginning February 28.
In related news, the YEEZY 500 “Blush” is rumored to release this week.
