adidas' latest Spezial release gets the Primeknit treatment, looking something like a knitted Samba.

The Spezial series first appeared in the 1970s, gaining popularity amongst sneakerheads, football fans and lovers of indoor sports like handball, and this latest lightweight iteration will no doubt go down a treat with all three groups.

The upper is engineered from adidas' Primeknit technology, and the shoe's breathability will be ideally suited for when the weather hots up again. The sneaker is available in two colorways - grey and blue - both of which feature a contrasting gum sole.

The adidas "Very Spezial" Primeknit will drop in April 2016 for around $135.
