Editor’s Notes: Ahead of the “Yung Series” launch this June, adidas and retailer Titolo have provided us with a closer look at the Yung-1 sneaker and the return of the classic Continental 80.
Inspired by early ’00s sportswear, the Yung-1 is a contemporary iteration of dad-style shoes, featuring an upper updated from the brand’s 1997 Falcon Dorf, here outfitted with a restructured tongue and paired with a chunky sole. The shoe is set to arrive in two colorways: an orange/navy construction and this newly debuted navy/red/white version, which is inspired by a ’90s running model from the adidas archive.
Joining the Yung-1 is the next best answer to the YEEZY Powerphase, adidas’ classic Continental 80. The retro-style sports shoe features two-tone stripes along the side of a white upper, throwback Trefoil branding next to the laces, and terry cloth lining.
For those looking to buy, these “Yung Series” silhouettes debut on June 20 at authorized adidas retailers such as Titolo. Let us know if you’ll be copping.
