With chunky old-school silhouettes always on the up, we have much love for adidas‘ reigning ’90s-inspired kicks — the Yung-1 and Yung-96. From new eye-catching colorways to collabs with cult cartoon Dragonball Z, these retro silhouettes are the throwback sneaker that keep on giving.
The Yung-1 takes inspiration from adidas’ Falcon Dorf silhouette first spotted in 1997. Here, the Falcon most notably received updates on its sole, paired with the original upper. Meanwhile, the inspiration behind the Yung-96 can be credited to ’90s sportswear, with details such as a ’90s-inspired chunky EVA midsole and torsion X-bar.
In the past year, both retro-inspired silhouettes have become available in iterations spanning from the classic white and black colorways to more bold options including bright orange. Below, we’ve rounded up all of the colorways currently available to shop.
