Cop It, Then Rock It

It may be a few years since A$AP Rocky dropped his last album, but that hasn’t stopped him from making headlines. Harlem’s own has been carving his lane in the fashion world since ”Live. Love. ASAP” dropped way back in 2011, culminating in the announcement earlier this year that Rocky would be lending his creative flair to American sportswear label Under Armour.

Why UA would turn to Rocky is obvious, his taste for high fashion and his killer ‘fits have cemented his reputation as a genuine trendsetter. One of his most eye-grabbing looks this year was the mink coat ensemble he rocked to Gucci’s SS18 show in Milan.

Since then, Gucci announced that they would be joining Armani, HUGO BOSS, Yoox Net-a-Porter and Stella McCartney by no longer using fur in their collections. This move doesn’t mean that Rocky’s winter-friendly look can’t be replicated however, faux fur offers all of the cozy benefits real fur provides and is an ethically sound and wallet-friendly alternative to the real thing.

We have compiled a selection of our favorite faux fur pieces, featuring the likes of Stüssy, The New Country, and Topman. Check them out below to get the PMF’s cozy boy look for a fraction of the cost.
