A few weeks ago we reported about changes on the official A$AP Rocky Instagram account and how the rapper started posting art pieces to the account, made up of picture patterns, that only make sense when seen together. The account, which has become a lot more abstract in recent time, now looks like one big piece of art, made up of digital collages. The digital artwork was created in collaboration with Robert Gallardo, a member of the rapper’s new internal creative team, AWGE. Furthermore work by artists Daniel Arsham and Tan Camera was also sampled in the stream. Ultimately, the change in creative direction on the Instagram account cost A$AP Rocky now over 100,000 followers. It seems like his followers do not understand or appreciate, the new direction he is taking. What do you think?

In case you haven't heard, At.Long.Last.A$AP released a week earlier and can be streamed here. For more Rocky-related trivia, check out our recent roundup of 10 things you should know about the Harlem rapper, as well as our early coverage of Rocky collaborator Joe Fox.
