Amazon Studios this week give us our first look at upcoming drama, Beautiful Boy, starring Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet.

Based on the best-selling memoirs by father and son David and Nic Sheff, the film details a story of survival, relapse, and recovery, as Chalamet portrays Nic, a young boy battling years of addiction, despite unwavering support from his dad, David, played by Carell.

Maura Tierney and Amy Ryan also feature in Beautiful Boy, which is due in select theaters October 12. After getting a look at the heart-wrenching trailer above, take to the comment section to let us know if you plan on watching the film.

In other movie news, the universe's most lethal hunters return in the new trailer for Shane Black’s 'The Predator' reboot.
