Earlier this summer it was first unveiled that adidas Originals was working on a new partnership with New York fashion designer Alexander Wang. The two brands made it official last night at Alexander Wang's Spring 2017 fashion show in New York City, as part of New York Fashion Week. For the first capsule collection, Wang literally turned the iconic adidas Originals trefoil logo upside down. While the collection overall consists of 84 pieces, nine pieces of it, including a tee, sweatshirt, hoodie, tricot and three footwear styles is dropping already today, September 11.

Here comes the trick now though. The capsule will not be sold at the adidas flagship store in SoHo, you can only purchase it from one of the pop-up trucks that will be around town. Here is the schedule:

Canal Street & Mercer - 12 p.m. 5th Ave & 57th Street - 3 p.m. McCarren Park at Bedford & N 12th - 6 p.m.

Next spring the complete adidas Originals by Alexander Wang collection will be sold at adidas Originals and Alexander Wang stores, online stores and select retailers. You can see the capsule collection here above, in an exclusive mini lookbook shot by Juergen Teller for Vogue.
