Drake’s love for the Italian powerhouse label that is Stone Island is of little mystery. From the artist’s custom $100k “Stone Island” tour chain, to wearing it so much that some may even credit a certain brand image depreciation to him alone, Drake still continues to hold pieces that would make certain collectors weak at the knees.

Coming fresh from the Shoes Surgeon's laboratory, the artist was gifted with a pair of custom “Stone Island” Air Jordan 12 sneakers. As a masterclass in sneaker recreation, these customs were constructed out of an actual Stone Island jacket, visible around the ridged lacing column and heel counter, as well as a pair of the brand’s denim trousers, seen around the toe box and ring-pull.

Amongst such refined detailing, the Drake “Stone Island” Jordans have retained the sleeve cuffs of the jacket from which the rest of its design was constructed, to create an internally set, sock-like ankle shroud. And of course, what is any Stone Island piece without its infamous badge? Seen here wrapped around the back of one of the shoes.

In other footwear news, the KAWS x Air Jordan 4 “Black” is dropping on Cyber Monday. Check it out here.
