Drake and his co-manager Future the Prince have signed a new film production deal, Deadline reports. They’ll be working with producer Matthew Budman, formerly of Annapurna Pictures, at Forest Hill Pictures, his new production company.

“Drake and Future the Prince have been leading the way as artists in the music and fashion arena and I’m honored to be collaborating with them as they continue to broaden their influence in the original content space,” Budman said in a statement.

“Drake and I are thrilled to partner with our longtime friend at the inception of Forest Hill Entertainment, supporting Matthew and his team as they set new, unprecedented boundaries of groundbreaking content,” said Future the Prince. “This partnership aligns strongly with our mission of developing and fostering emerging and preeminent talent across the entertainment landscape.”

Most recently, Drake was credited as executive producer on the Reinaldo Marcus Green-directed drama, Monsters and Men, which was released in September 2018. Back in 2017, he discussed his burgeoning involvement in film and television with the Hollywood Reporter.
