Key Features: The Tribeka features a mixed material upper construction in both white and black colorways. The white midsole sits between the upper and the icy blue translucent outsole. DC branding on the oversized tongue and additional lace cage round off the look.

The Syntax takes on a chunkier, more traditional skate shoe shape, with a mixed material upper construction and oversized tongue and throat. DC branding is seen on the sides, heel, and the exaggerated heel tab. The sneaker comes in three colorways: purple, white, and black.

Release Date: September 22

Price: TBC

Buy: FTP online and a special pop-up at UNDFTD La Brea in Los Angeles. Turn up at 9 a.m. (112 1/2 South La Brea Ave Los Angeles, CA 90036 USA).

Editor’s Notes: DC Shoes has tapped Los Angeles-based FTP (short for FuckThePopulation) to rework two of its signature silhouettes: the Tribeka and the Syntax.

The Tribeka comes in two colorways (black and white), while the Syntax comes in three (black, white, and purple).

The sneakers will release on FTP’s website, as well as a special pop up space at UNDFTD Los Angeles (address below), on September 22.

After the pop up shop, there will be an after-party at the regent, which will see DJ sets by Crystal Meth, Drew Byrd, and Cvstillo, and performances by Lil Ugly Mane, Gem Gleesh, ZillaKami x SOS Mula, as well as a special performance to be announced.
