In honor of upcoming Independence Day, J.Crew has decided to celebrate it their own special way by teaming up with two classic American brands, New Balance and Ebbets Field Flannels. Inspired by the proud history of American craftsmanship, the New Balance 998 was designed in New York City and made in Skowhegan, Maine featuring a patriotic red, white and blue colorway and ABZORB sole. An extremely limited number of J.Crew x New Balance 998 Independence Day sneakers will be released at 10 a.m. local time on June 14 at the Liquor Store New York, The Grove in Los Angeles, and On Lan in Hong Kong, with the first 20 customers each receiving an exclusive Ebbets Field Flannels cap. The sneakers will be available on general release from the J.Crew webstore June 18.
