Editor’s Notes: As part of its relaunched A-ZX campaign, adidas Originals has teamed up with Italian football powerhouse Juventus, The team, which is sponsored by adidas, gets a ZX 6000 in the club’s own colors and featuring luxe materials and construction — fit for a champion.

The Bianconeri — as they are known in Italy — have taken strides to become more of a lifestyle brand off of the pitch in the past few years. An in-house apparel collection and a logo change are a few of the steps Juventus has taken to raise its brand awareness outside of the sport and position itself as the most stylish club in the world.

The collaborative ZX 6000 is the latest step and looks to be a successful one, as the design of the shoe is not too obviously modeled after a football club, as some football club x sneaker collaborations have been in the past. The sneaker will be available on September 2 at adidas.com/a-zx and various retailers worldwide.

This release is part of adidas’ A-ZX program, a series of 26 ZX sneakers dropping throughout 2020-21. To see what’s dropped so far and what’s coming next, head here.
