After unveiling its New York Cobras soccer kit, the collaborative KITH x adidas Soccer Season 2 collection now introduces KITH’s third and latest soccer club, the Los Angeles Rays.

Having launched two pop-ups in the past there and with another for the launch of Season 2, Los Angeles stands as the ideal West Coast counterpart to Kith’s two East Coast clubs (New York and Miami).

“The color palette for the LA Rays feels very iconic to me,” Ronnie Fieg explains. “Being the Golden State we started with a base of goldenrod, which we really liked when combined with the right shade of olive. We wanted a third color to add to the mix and went with a faded purple. The mixture feels very classic but is brand new, which was the ultimate goal,” Fieg details.

He added, “The evolution from Season 1 to 2 is really seen with our jerseys, as we’ve added some of the iconic brands we work with as sponsors. Samsung has been our tech partner the last few years and has really opened my eyes to new and innovative ways to bring our brand closer to our audience. That’s why I wanted to work with them to be the sponsor for our new Los Angeles team.”

In addition to the apparel range, the collab includes footwear featuring the Nemeziz UltraBOOST 17+ rendered in the signature colors, as well as the Nemeziz 17.1 TR.

The entire line will debut at all KITH flagships, the KITH Fred Segal Pop-Up at 8500 Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles and online on Friday, November 3.

Lastly, tomorrow, the pop-up will host KITH’s FIFA 18 tournament with EA Sports. This tournament will also occur simultaneously at the KITH Manhattan flagship, beginning at 1 p.m. PST / 4 p.m. EST at both locations.
