After being humbled by Spurs 3-0 last night, Manchester United have attempted to lift their fans' spirits by unveiling a bold pink away kit for the 2018/19 season.

Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, and co. will be playing their away games in the light pink jersey, which is a somewhat controversial choice for a team that traditionally plays in black, red, and white, with the occasional blue kit.

The pink away jersey has split opinion among fans, although this is not the first time that adidas has bestowed the colorway upon one of its top teams.

In 2016, Juventus was given a pink away jersey, which Drake — a Nike-signed artist at the time — liked so much he wore on several occasions (although he did photoshop out the adidas logo on that famous Instagram post).

The jersey will be available at adidas, online, and at select retailers starting September 13.
