They finally arrived! Our own edition of the New Balance 990 "Made in the USA" sneakers built using the brand's new "Be a Maker" online customization program are here. As we mentioned in our first New Balance "Be a Maker" story, the brand build and assemble these sneakers inside their USA-based factory allowing for delivery in six to eight days. That's quite fast for a custom pair of kicks.

We love the result. Our custom New Balance 990 features high-quality leather details and a clean upper and our color choices work very well on the silhouette. We took a very subtle approach, contrasting the grey with only a touch of Strawberry to make it pop.
