The oversized rubber toe then incorporates a geometric pattern referencing the technical manuals found inside shoe boxes from the '70s and '80s.

Release Date: TBC

Price: $140

Editor’s Notes: Nike will soon be releasing a new colorway of the Air Force 1 Type, also known as the AF1-Type. A new breed of Air Force 1, the silhouette is part of the brand's concept-driven N. 354 line, which reimagines classic models.

The Air Force 1 Type is designed to bring a handmade look to a classic shoe. The sneaker makes use of transparent materials on the upper to showcase its closure system and adjustable technology.

The on-hand “Light Ivory/Earth Brown” colorway of the Air Force 1 Type is expected to arrive stateside in the very near future.
