adidas looks to tap into the booming video game industry by partnering with one of the most well-known gamers in the world, Tyler Blevins aka Ninja. Today the brand officially announces a collaboration with the professional gamer, streamer, and YouTuber.

Both adidas and Ninja took to social media this afternoon to make the news known to the world. "Never let anyone tell you that you can’t catch your dreams," Ninja tweeted, before concluding, "I’m humbled, and excited, to officially announce my partnership with @adidasoriginals." No shortcuts. Only long days. Never let anyone tell you that you can’t catch your dreams. Choose your path. Put the TIME IN. I’m humbled, and excited, to officially announce my partnership with @adidasoriginals . — Ninja (@Ninja) August 27, 2019

While specifics surrounding the partnership have yet to be revealed, Ninja seemingly becomes the first pro gamer ever signed to adidas. News of the deal arrives as Ninja recently ditched Amazon's Twitch streaming service for Microsoft's Mixer alternative.
