The hype surrounding Quavo and Travis Scott‘s collaborative project has been building up all year. and while we’re still waiting for Migos’s Culture 2 and Travis Scott’s Astroworld, thankfully it looks like Travis Scott & Quavo’s Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho will satisfy our musical needs in the meantime.

The title has been confirmed

During an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 radio show Quavo dropped the title for the long-awaited project. Called Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho, the title references Travis and Quavo’s nicknames — Cactus Jack and Huncho respectively.

It’s already be sent to mix

Quavo previously tweeted on November 29 that all files were “shipped off for mixing,” reiterating to Lowe on Beats 1 — “It’s done. It’s off for mixing. So you know when it’s done for mixing, it’s ready to go.”

Mike Dean has signed on

On December 4, producer Mike Dean posted a photo to Instagram also revealed he was working on the duo’s project. The iconic producer has previously worked with Travis Scott, as well as Kanye West, Beyoncé, Jay Z, and Desiigner.

It is rumored to drop this December

While no hard release date has been announced, a video of Travis Scott and Quavo getting hyped emerged on Instagram, with the caption “Huncho Jack Jack Huncho coming December.”

‘Huncho Jack Jack Huncho’ could have 20 tracks — or more

In an interview with Montreality this September, Quavo revealed that the duo had a lot of material already ready for the project.

“We’ve been making a whole bunch of records; we got a lot of records together right now, we’ve probably got like 20 records, we just need to get some time and just sort ’em out,” Quavo announced.

‘Huncho Jack Jack Huncho’ is set to release December 22 at midnight

Both Travis Scott and Quavo have taken to social media to reveal that Huncho Jack Jack Huncho is dropping at midnight on December 22.

The ‘Huncho Jack Jack Huncho’ artwork was illustrated by Ralph Steadman

Scott has also informed that famed Hunter S. Thompson collaborator Ralph Steadman handled the artwork for the project.

‘Huncho Jack Jack Huncho’ has 13 tracks and two features

The collabo project has been chopped down to boast 13 songs, with the two features coming from the remaining members of Migos, Takeoff and Offset.
