Editor’s Notes: This custom sneaker, a collaboration between Anthony "RAC" Racaniello and Philadelphia sneaker boutique UBIQ, marries the Nike Air More Uptempo and Air Force 1 for an unexpectedly harmonious hybrid sneaker design.

In a Twitter thread, the first post of which you can check out below, Racaniello explains the inspiration behind the design. The multiple-Swoosh look is apparently a nod to John Geiger’s “Misplaced Checks” Air Force 1 custom. The colorway is inspired by Racaniello’s time growing up in the Middle East, with olive and sandy hues covering the sneaker.

Check out detailed images of the sneaker above and stay tuned for release information as it comes.

In the meantime, let us know what you think of these customs and whether or not you’ll be trying to cop.
