The elusive singer H.E.R. recently revealed that she might have a collaborative effort with Rihanna in the works. Sitting down with music journalist MalcolmMusic, the Californian singer noted that the pair are working on “secret projects.”
When asked if the “secret projects” include a musical collaboration, the 20-year-old smiled and said, “something like that.” During the 18-minute clip, the singer also spoke on her early influences, citing Brandy, as well as briefly discussing the direction of her new album. To date, H.E.R. has released four EPs but no full-length project.

Following the release of her H.E.R.: Volume 1 in 2016, Rihanna gave the young singer a subtle cosign after using her song “Focus” in an Instagram video – which you can watch below. “That was insane,” H.E.R. commented on the post during the interview. “I was jumping up and down and I never do that. I was super excited.”
As we wait for H.E.R.’s debut album to drop and Rihanna’s potential lingerie line to hit shelves, let us know in the comments below what you think a collaborative H.E.R. x Rihanna song would sound like.
