Today we get a first proper look at Ronnie Fieg's upcoming ASICS project. The New York designer has been instrumental, if not single-handedly responsible for the strong ASICS lifestyle standing in the U.S. today. Therefore it does not surprise us that the sneaker brand allowed Fieg to create his very own silhouette - the GEL-Lyte 3.1. Essentially Fieg went ahead and fused two existing silhouettes and created a new one. The upper of the popular ASICS GEL-Lyte 3 meets the GEL Nimbus performance tooling. The above "Super Green" colorway comes with an all-black premium leather upper, perforated details on the side-panels and the toe box, and a white running outer sole with hints of black and super green. On his Instagram Fieg announced that this is one of only three ASICS GEL-Lyte 3.1 to ever release and they are limited to only 700 pairs. Stay tuned as we find out more about the release.
