Todd Snyder and New Balance have come together for a custom creation of the 998. Dubbed "Black and Tan," the sneaker pays homage to New York's iconic Old Town Bar.

The custom kicks in turn feature a black and tan upper constructed from suede and mesh, with a complementary white "N" logo alongside. "TS" and "NY" tagging has then been applied to the heels, while the tongue notes the accustomed New Balance 998 branding.

In speaking on the collaboration, Snyder revealed: "I love a Black and Tan, and I always love an old school pub. It was great to work with New Balance to customize a smart-looking sneaker that captures that retro vibe in a modern way."
