Editor's Notes: Microsoft's next-gen Xbox Series X console is hard enough to buy, can you imagine how difficult it'll be to grab its new adidas collab?

Dropping to commemorate Xbox's 20th anniversary, the Xbox 20th Forum Tech is basically a souped-up adidas Forum, sporting vivid green on the translucent midsole and mesh/nubuck upper, offset by contrasting black. "XBOX SEATTLE WA 20001" text is printed towards the rear and "Play More" graces the lace tips.

It's a pretty clear riff on the look of the original Xbox, a beefy black box accented by green branding. The Forum isn't quite as chunky but it does have that retro heft, so it's a fair interpretation.

Actually, given some of the... lackluster franchise collabs we've seen recently, this Xbox Forum is a welcome surprise. It's reasonably wearable but still has a pretty clear Xbox inspiration, even without the OG logo on the tongue.

Of course, it's immediately gonna garner comparisons to Travis Scott's PlayStation Nike Dunk Low or even the PG 5 "PlayStation." Whichever way you feel, at least we can all agree they're all superior to Zara's PlayStation monstrosities.

Xbox isn't revealing any additional information about the green-tinged Forum but sneaker boutique Afew gave us a first look at its black counterpart, complete with price and release date.

Xbox's Twitter account will presumably be posting launch updates and we can expect more collaborative adidas sneakers dropping down the road, all inspired by new and old Xbox consoles.

What's next: a 360 UltraBoost? An Xbox One 4D? Whatever they end up being, hopefully they're all as considered as the Forum.
