In a recent interview with CNBC, adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted contradicted the idea that Kanye West's recent outspoken political stance has had an effect on the rapper's business interests, stating that YEEZY sales remain strong.

Rosted said adidas “had a very strong third quarter in our YEEZY line," that there was "absolutely no slowdown" in sales, and that he expects the collaboration with West to continue "for years to come."

Speaking about West's recent political statements and subsequent announcement that he was distancing himself from politics, Rorsted said that while adidas doesn't subscribe to everything its collaborators say and do, the company is only focused on a partner's creative work. "If [West] stays away from politics, that's his choice," Rorsted said. "We've had a great relationship with him."
