From the ground up

Converse continues its long-term partnership with (PRODUCT) RED with a full  collection of premium and limited edition footwear for Fall 2007.  As the cornerstone of Converse (PRODUCT) RED, the brand will introduce music and culture collaborations with the legendary punk band Ramones, UK band Kaiser Chiefs, renowned photographer Ricky Powell and hip hop culture legends Sedgwick and Cedar.  In addition, Converse and Gap will continue to evolve their limited edition collection of Converse (PRODUCT) RED Chuck Taylor® All Star® shoes available exclusively at select Gap stores.
The music and culture collaboration we will present you in a bit, as these are only coming out in August, but we’ll give you now a look at what Converse is dropping 1rst of June, as part of the (Product) RED premium and limited edition footwear collection. What looked to us at the beginning as a one time collaboration, turned out to be the most interesting collection that Converse has to offer with tons of collaborations and special models using different materials and out of the norm colorways.
The first products dropping in June out of the Fall 2007 collection come out of the Vocabulary collection, African Symbols collection, Mend-it collection, and the collaboration with Gap. Other models in each of these collections will follow throughout August with in the end the drop of the Music and Culture collaborations.
The Gap collaboration to drop June 1rst you can see above and check out the other new Converse (Product) RED drops, coming out June 1rst now after the jump.
