The Nike Air Max 97 is one of the most iconic sneakers of all time, of course especially in its original silver colorway. The sneaker was designed by Christian Tresser and inspired by the high-speed Japanese bullet train. Featuring the first full-length air unit, it was a groundbreaking moment in Nike Air technology and sneaker design alike. Popular all over the world, it was especially hyped in the Italian market and therefore Nike has decided to give Italy the first release of the silver Nike Air Max 97 for its 20th anniversary. The limited edition sneaker comes with a nice Italian flag detail on the tongue and the heel.
This unique Air Max 97 will be exclusively sold in Italy from October 5 in selected stores, including: NikeLab ST18 (Milan), One Block Down (Milan), Excelsior (Milan), Holypop (Rome), Slam Jam (Milano) and LuisaViaRoma (Firenze).
