South-African menswear label SOL-SOL return with a new drop of reworked basics with a focus on fit, fabric, and design. Like always, the FW17 collection blurs the ever-eroding line dividing contemporary menswear and streetwear. The brand’s latest line-up includes all the usual staples in clean, unfussy silhouettes. However, unexpected details like stepped hems and raw edges prove the label’s exacted eye when it comes to design and its visual intricacies.
Standouts include a chore jacket made of fine linen and a suede overcoat for the season’s transitional moments. SOL-SOL also tease some upcoming collaborations in the lookbook above. Peek a preview of a development sample from the brand’s collab with Levi’s, as well as some abstract graphic treatment adorning shirts and hoodies that’s the result of a collaboration with South-African artist OG-Beagles.
The FW17 collection will be available from the brand’s usual stockists including Popcorn in Hong Kong and Hostem in London.
