Ahead of a global release on March 1, today adidas Originals officially unveils the previously-teased Iniki Runner. The all-new silhouette in turn draws inspiration from 1970s running culture.
In taking elements from iconic runner designs and blending them with a striking modern perspective to create a technically advanced shoe with a classic, nostalgic touch, the Iniki Runner features a paneled construction from two-way stretch mesh with vintage suede overlays, then noting a shiny mesh tongue and printed, perforated Three Stripes branding. In addition to a sock-fit design and OrthoLite sockliner, the runner also welcomes the brand’s patented Boost tooling for enhanced cushioning and comfort.
Above we get a look at red and navy colorways of the Iniki Runner, which will be releasing globally on March 1.
