As one of the youngest names in adidas' ever-expanding designer portfolio, adidas by kolor has only had a short time to make its mark on the world. However, if last year's neon-emblazoned Ultra Boosts were a tentative introduction to the partnership, the second collection is guaranteed to make you sit up and take notice.

For those unfamiliar with kolor-founder Junichi Abe's design philosophy, his label exists to produce incredibly technical clothing driven by practical functionality. His pieces are often super lightweight and able to be stuffed away inside bags or lockers during the long working day, emerging as an on-the-fly outfit change when you need them most.

In a similar vein, adidas by kolor Season 2 features some of the most advanced technologies in adidas' textile arsenal. Climaheat and Climachill fabrics are employed throughout, helping you regulate your temperature to the best possible degree when training. Meanwhile, bold hits of neon, liberal use of mesh, colorful taped seams and some very space-age snatches of reflective foil all reinforce the impression that this is activewear unlike anything you have seen, or worn, before.

All items, including the head-turning adizero XT footwear, will be on sale from select adidas accounts on April 1.
