Key Features: The München “Made in Germany” returns in two colorways (in the gallery below) inspired by the traditional lederhosen. One is a classic brown, with light contrast stitching and an embroidered pretzel. The other is a new beige iteration that is only available through adidas directly. Both pairs feature a completely waterproof full-grain leather upper. The SC Premiere (in the gallery above), on the other hand, features a premium white leather upper with “PROST” (German for cheers) embossed on the heel. The only hit of color is on the Bavarian flag-clad insole.

Editor’s Notes: adidas Originals has planned something extra special for this year’s Oktoberfest celebrations in Munich. Together with Munich retailer BSTN, adidas is releasing a special-edition SC Premiere that is strictly limited to just 100 pairs and also doubles as a ticket to the VIP section of the Paulaner festival tent. The VIP ticket is only valid on September 22, the famous first Sunday of the Oktoberfest celebrations. Sneakerheads will be able to sign up for the raffle from September 16 to 19 at BSTN in Munich, before the winners are announced live at the store on September 20. The shoe also comes with a set of coasters, pins, and a bottle opener that match the all-white look of the sneaker.
In addition, The Brand With the Three Stripes will be bringing back its classic München silhouette in two colorways, both of which will be limited releases and made in Germany. The sneakers are waterproofed, making them the Oktoberfest shoe, as liquids will roll right off the full-grain leather upper. The brown colorway will be available at adidas and select retailers, while the beige pair is exclusive to adidas.
