After Nike introduced its first-ever Flyknit sports bra last month, adidas launches a new bra made from Primeknit. Dubbed the Don’t Rest Primeknit LUX bra, the garment offers the wearer the perfect fit and enhanced freedom of movement.

The Don’t Rest Primeknit LUX bra is years in the making, as adidas rigorously researched the female body in motion to create a bra that delivers unmatched support and comfort. Thanks to Primeknit knitting technology, the brand achieved the precise amount of flexibility and support required.

Featuring soft and absorbent nylon, the Primeknit bra provides unmatched comfort and cooling, with engineered unpadded compression delivering stretch, strain and bounce management.

“Women are no longer willing to sacrifice comfort and support during performance, and they shouldn’t have to,” says Clair Wallace, Design Director of Advanced Concepts and Global Brands at adidas. “What makes the Don’t Rest Primeknit LUX bra unique is that we built the infrastructure of the bra from the inside out, based on insights from our female athletes around needing support and comfort in equal measure. The knit construction of Primeknit allows the bra to mirror every movement, enabling female athletes to train without any distractions.”

adidas has tapped LA dancer Mette Towley to help introduce the Don’t Rest Primeknit LUX bra, as she is seen wearing the piece in the gallery above and video below. The brand notes that Towley served as inspiration for the making of the bra.

The Don’t Rest Primeknit LUX bra ($90) is available alongside adidas’ Believe This Primeknit LUX Tight ($110), which features the same Primeknit technology and fabric construction that moves with the body.
