This past month during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris, Aimé Leon Dore previewed their forthcoming SS17 collection. The reveal was highlighted by the debut of the label's inaugural footwear delivery.
In channeling the same clean, minimal aesthetic as the brand's apparel styles, the shoe designs in turn remain true to Aimé Leon Dore's New York values. This initial release finds the kicks being handmade in Portugal using high grade leather and suede, as silhouettes include both high-top and low-top iterations, in addition to their take on the ever-popular Chelsea boot.
Alongside the footwear selection, Aimé Leon Dore also presents a number of cut and sew pieces, ranging from windbreakers, pop-overs and utility jackets to polos, shorts, trousers, denim and more. All in all, the label's SS17 collection boasts 150 items, showcased in a wide range of seasonal colors, constructed from lightweight textiles.
Earlier this year Aimé Leon Dore launched their first-ever women's collection.
