Three years is a long time to work on a single shoe, or on anything for that matter, but that is how long it took ASICS to perfect its new sneaker silhouette the “DynaFlyte.” The reason for the hold-up was the brand’s extreme attention to the shoe’s weight, which ASICS can now proudly say is its lightest shoe ever.

Weighing in at a cool 270 grams, the secret to the DynaFlyte’s lightness lies in its FlyteFoam midsole. This is a material that the brand had tested in over 300 prototypes before arriving at the current, release-ready iteration. Available in both men's and women's sizes, the sneakers also comes in a variety of colorways, united in their neon palette.

In related news, adidas also just released a brand new silhouette called the AlphaBOUNCE.
