After a teaser preview the other day, we can take a more detailed look at the latest collaboration between retailer BAIT and ASICS today. The two worked on the Popular ASICS Gel Lyte 3 running sneaker in this second collaboration this season. The new team-up is an evolution of the Model-001 Vanquish, the "BASICS Model-002 Guardian" is conceptualized and designed to withstand extreme conditions of a dystopian world.

"The body of the shoe features a reinforced metal wire mesh with a custom camouflage visible underneath, while a rugged weathered-treated nailhead suede frames the upper. A reflective 3M hexagon print over micro-metal mesh highlight the toe, side, and heel. The interior is lined with a durable and breathable performance mesh. A simplified formstripe, speckled midsole, and orange hits detail the shoe. Round waxed laces come in black, orange, and olive."

The BAIT x ASICS “BASICS Model-002 Guardian” will be available in-store at both BAIT Diamond Bar and BAIT Orange County on Saturday, January 25, 2014 and will go for $150. You can already register today for online purchases begins today here.
