Brand: Thames London

Season: Spring/Summer 2017

Key Pieces: The “Thames Times” hoodie that swipes typeface inspiration from T: The New York Times Style magazine logo.

Editor’s Notes: Blondey McCoy needs little introduction at this point. The young wunderkind has been a firm fixture on London’s skate scene since the age of 13, and the designer/artist still continues to skate professionally with the Palace Wayward Boys Choir while his fledging label Thames London has quickly become a fave among the streetwear cognoscenti.

For SS17, McCoy continues to take inspo from bygone British cultural paraphernalia at its most debauched, with this season’s lookbook featuring cut-and-paste collages of vintage porn mags and £20 bills. The young aesthete manages to rework the Thames logo in a solid variety of treatments too. As always, it’s a wearable selection of everyday staples from slogan tees to hoodies to crew necks.
