Location: Berlin, Germany

Event: Bread&&Butter by Zalando 2018—The Pop-Up of Style and Culture (B&&B)

Key Looks: Although Berlin’s known for its uniform of black, B&&B goers showed a strong tendency towards the maximalism trend with the steeziest attendees flexing bright outfits combining bold print, checks, and vibrant colors. Thanks to the sunny weather, shades were out in force, with mini styles the clear favorite and sporty cycling designs in firm second (a trend on the rise). Another of 2018’s biggest trends—the chunky sneaker—was heavily represented among the fashion crowd, as well as several techwear-inspired utility vest and sets of dungarees—check the Supreme x The North Face Mountain Bib (gallery 2, #1).

Editor’s Notes: Last weekend, B&&B took over the Arena Berlin for a weekend of fashion, music, and partying. The event, which is open for everyone to attend, drew in Berlin’s most stylish as well as fashion influencers and industry professionals from far and wide.

B&&B is a full celebration of style and culture and those who attended experienced pop-ups where they could cop limited edition products, sneaker pre-releases, and exclusive collaborations from over 40 brands including adidas Originals, 032c, Nike, Vans, Converse, The North Face, AAPE By A Bathing Ape, Carhartt WIP, and many, many more. They also had the chance to enjoy live music, panel talks, fashion shows, after parties, and delicious street food.

Needless to say, there were some great ‘fits on show and we were on the ground, alongside photographer Eva Losada, to capture them. See our top picks in the image galleries above, and then check out the event recap video, below.

Although the event is now over, B&&B has launched breadandbutter.com, a new online shopping hub dedicated to selling selected streetwear and exclusive drops all year round.
