In this day and age, a collection is only as good as the lookbook that showcases it. Furthermore, there is much more that goes into creating a quality lookbook than meets the eye.

Chicago-based photographer trashhand has himself used fashion lookbooks to build both his portfolio and career, and now he wants to pass down some tricks of the trade. Via his new Skillshare online class, trashhand takes students through his personal process as he shoots a lookbook for Canadian brand Raised by Wolves.

The seasoned photographer in turn draws on his experiences to provide advice on reaching out to and working with a brand, preparing for a shoot through styling and scouting, composing shots, and editing photos with product in mind.
