Los Angeles label John Elliott is launching a "Season 7.5" capsule collection, which will bridge its stunning "Season Seven - Running Through Vietnam," and the recently announced, upcoming "Season Eight - Over The Line."
The capsule uses brand new silhouettes for fall and winter, but sticks closely to the color palettes seen in Elliot's previous collections. The colors are reminiscent of the foggy streets of Hanoi and the islands of Ha Long Bay, inspired by a personal trip to Vietnam.
As usual, it's a range of intricately-detailed and superbly well put together french terry cotton, denim, jersey and outerwear garments. This is also the first time the label has produced a line of footwear, with at least one high-top, basketball-style sneaker set for release.
The first delivery of the collection will drop today over at the brand's web store.
While we wait, see what happened when we shot John Elliott's "dark and sexual" FW16 lookbook.
