Location: Paris, France

Season: Spring/Summer 2018

Key Looks: The patchwork Carhartt workwear suit, superbly wide-cut navy trousers, the diverse array of patchwork denim, paint-splattered jackets, and cropped outdoor outerwear.

Editor’s Notes: Junya Watanabe continues his collaborative agenda for yet another season, reprising enduring unions with Carhartt, Levi’s and The North Face, alongside new collaborators such as Karrimor, Turnbull & Asser. The result is a solid collection of familiar workwear silhouettes with more artistic manipulations. Watanabe rehashes a radical approach to patch-working, too, which has reached new heights of excellence this season, and those paint-splattered jackets, coats, and trousers are all standout.
