Lyst published its list of hottest brand and products for 2019 Q1 recently and, for the first time ever, sneakers made up all ten of the hottest men’s products.

Of the ten six are Nike sneakers, one is adidas YEEZY, one is New Balance, another is vegan brand Veja, and the last is manufactured by Nike-owned Converse. This gives the Swoosh a whopping 70 percent representation on the ranking, landing four in the top 5 in the process.

Half the Nike sneakers were collaborations: the upcoming sacai x Nike LDVWaffle, the Supreme x Nike Air Max 98, and the Jerry Lorenzo-designed Nike Air Fear of God 1. Three other models on the list are arguably some of the most popular silhouettes of all time: the Nike Air Force 1, the New Balance 997, and the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi.

The fact that we’re seeing ten sneakers on the ranking for the first time ever speaks to the global appeal of footwear (specifically athleisure sneakers) as the industry is predicted to grow to $95.14 billion by 2025. According to Lyst, shoppers viewed a pair of Nike Air Force 1s every minute (data is compiled by analyzing the searching, browsing, and buying behavior of shoppers online).

In terms of the hottest brands overall, Virgil Abloh’s OFF-WHITE label topped the list after previously finishing in second in 2018 Q4. Gucci, on the other hand, had to settle for second place after topping the ranking last year. Other brands in the top 20 included Balenciaga (3), Prada (6), Stone Island (7) Nike (11), YEEZY (16), and adidas (19).

Perhaps more interestingly, Louis Vuitton was not part of the top 20 this quarter, despite Virgil Abloh being named creative director of menswear last year.

In other news, we paid a visit to Europe’s oldest porcelain factory — Germany’s Meissen, who brought us Supreme’s $4,000 Cupid figurine. Watch below.
