Location: Milan Fashion Week

Season: SS19

Key Looks: Milan exploded with color below the ankles at last week’s SS19 Fashion Week. Designer sneakers from brands such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Balenciaga dominated the sidewalks as Italy’s most fashionable stepped out in everything from chunky runners to mountain-ready hikers. Regardless of style or brand, the common theme among attendees was wearing as much color as possible in a bid to turn heads.

Prada’s Cloudburst and 1017 ALYX 9SM’s hiking boot were both spotted in hi-vis orange colorways, while a colorful variant of Louis Vuitton’s Archlight sneaker was also on show. Another sneaker that may have flown under the radar is Li-Ning’s Furious Rider ACE, which we featured here last week.
