Back in January, designer Chris Stamp teased a collaborative project with IKEA and his own brand, STAMPD, which would be known as the SPÄNST collection. The streetwear-focussed capsule was conducted in partnership with fellow designer Maja Ganszyniec and features a range of furniture and accessories.

In a recent Los Angeles showroom, Highsnobiety got up and close personal with the available items. As seen above, the capsule’s shoe rack, coffee table, chair twinset and hoodies work primarily with a grey and black color scheme, while the collection’s shoeboxes, clothing racks and screened cabinet draw in a much-needed brightness.

“Fashion and furniture are different animals but the creative process is similar,”says Stamp. “Design no matter the medium is always about finding the right solution to a challenge. Feeling inspired by the environment around me and my team is an essential part of my creative process,” he added.

The limited edition STAMPD x IKEA SPÄNST collection will launch May 2018. Until then, have a browse of what’s to come above.
