Over the weekend, Highsnobiety and Barneys launched their two-day event, thedrop@barneys, bringing all walks of fashion life to their New York flagship store. Designers, fans, and today’s most relevant names in street culture and fashion made their way over to the eight-floor flagship to check out the over 80 brands, 30 exclusive capsule collections, and activations scattered throughout.
On day one, Virgil Abloh, Greg Lauren, Guillermo Andrade, Heron Preston, and Adonis Bosso came by, meeting fans and shoppers as they copped some of the exclusive product on offer. Today there will be more product to shop, and panels featuring Emily Oberg speaking on women in streetwear, and Ava Nirui touching on modern DIY culture.
The street style scene never looked better. From Supreme x Louis Vuitton jackets, to Virgil Abloh's Nike "The Ten" sneakers, to custom screen-printed Fallen Angels tees created at the brands DIY station at the event, everyone in attendance can dressed to impress. With day one done, take a look at the style scene at thedrop@barneys in our gallery above.
