Editor’s Notes: Creating or even improving a sneaker as classic as that of visvim’s signature Skagway is no mean feat. Despite many likening it to Converse’s Chuck Taylor, the Skagway’s new form is a welcomed departure from the convention of level midsoles. Despite contemporary design siding with bulky tooling systems, the reversed asymmetric design of the Skagway Patten is considerably under explored.
The brand’s latest creation flaunts a design that gradually thickens towards the toe, making ample space for a branded text plaque and a degree of much-needed obscurity. As it to be expected from visvim, the sneaker’s quality is second-to-none, and features everything from its seasonally-changing tongue tab, to leather heel countering used on all high-top models.
Next to this, visvim also shared a look at two, brand new low-top colorways in a recent editorial feature. See them below.
