While Kanye West’s Calabasas trainer been heralded as his simplest design in recent years — borrowing from classic adidas and Reebok silhouettes — the YEEZY Season 6 crepe sneaker takes over that title from here forward.

To the untrained eye, these might look like regular Vans, however, a quick look at the price tag and closer inspection of the craftsmanship and materials used quickly puts that comparison to rest.

No disrespect to Vans, as Kanye West himself once said “some days I’m in my YEEZYs, some days I’m in my Vans,” but the crepe sneakers are in a league of their own.

The upper is constructed from 100 percent suede, while the sole is made using a comfortable rubber crepe material. If these were a meme, they would be the “Vans” she told you not to worry about. Luckily for you, you can still put them into your rotation.

While they have flown somewhat under the radar, the YEEZY Season 6 crepe sneakers are now available to shop via the link below.
