From the ground up

Not a regular in the Converse First String offering, we take a look at the new CONS One Star ’74 “Brookwood Camo” pack. Celebrating the first and original One Star from 1974, the iconic low top sneaker gets a great remix in this new version. The upper fabric has been engineered by Brookwood Companies, a leading source of U.S. Army and performance textiles. The pattern is Brookwood’s COVERT camo and represents the first time this military-grade camouflage has been featured on footwear of any kind. As part of the pack, the sneaker features the camouflage in a lighter and a dark version, representing two colorways. Both sneakers from the Converse First String CONS One Star ’74 ‘Brookwood Camo’ Pack are now available through select Converse retailers, including Dover Street Market.
